Welcome on the site of the ICP

The Catholic University of Paris is a private, multidisciplinary university incorporating 21 organisations: 6 faculties, 5 specialised institutes, 11 graduate schools, 1 doctoral school (20 research centres) and the Catholic University of Paris Seminary (welcoming young people who plan to become priests).

Its faculties and institutes cater for almost 15 000 students, 4 500 of which are of a foreign nationality.

For international students, the Institute of French Language and Culture is specifically dedicated to the learning of French language and culture.

The Catholic University of Paris is a not-for-profit organisation according to the law of 1901, of recognised common public interest. It is under the joint authority of the Holy See (Congregation for Catholic Education) and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It issues state diplomas (degree, masters and PhD), canonical diplomas and its own diplomas.

The pedagogical plan at the Catholic University of Parisplaces emphasis on welcome, individual guidance and helping to orientate students, as well as international mobility.
